if you are on probation for a first time felony offense and violated your probation what would happen and is there anything you can do
Gwen,
There are a lot of variables here. A lot depends on the specific felony conviction, the terms of probation, the alleged violation. The range of possibilities go from a warning to remand to jail to serve the remaining time. If you believe the violation is serious enough you should contact an attorney to review your options. If it is a local attorney with experience in criminal matters they should be able to give you a pretty good estimate of what the sanctions will be.
