Question
My fiance is currently waiting to see the appointed judge about her violation to see if they are going to reinstated her probation. My question is if this is her first violation since she has been on probation what are the chances of the judge revoking her probation, and her being sentenced to more time in jail?  and my lawyer isn't being very persistent in the case, what should i do?

Answer
Tara,

Sorry about the problems your fiance is having.  No one, especially on a forum such as this can estimate what a judge may or may not do. There are to many variables and to many differing jurisdictions and polices.  Normally first time minor violations are handled by a warning or possible additional restrictions.  However there is no way i can estimate what the judge may.

Sorry i can't be more helpful
