Question
I have a question regarding potential legalities. I have a friend Jim who purchased 20 percocet from a disables veteran named Kyle. Jim bought these for a friend Dave. Dave repaid Jim for the 20 pills. My question is: is the you know what hits the fan who is in legal trouble. Jim for being the middle man, Dave for wanting and paying for the drugs or Kyle for selling some of his prescription for a modest profit. Thank you.

Answer
joe,

This one is easy, all three.  First the only person that is legally allowed to posses  the drugs is Kyle because of the script.  However when he sells ( or gives) he violates the law.  Jim is charged with dealing and Dave would get possession.  These are general charges as each state may have slightly different statutes and definitions.

Hope this helped
