Question
When I was a student I was living in a persons house paying rent. The house owner and I became close and she agreed to cosign a student loan for me for 37K.
Our relations grew bitter and now after two years she is suing me for fraud, saying she never agreed to cosign, but maybe be a guarantor. She constantly keeps giving long stories about how her life is hard and how she was not in the right frame of mind at the time. She is accusing me of signing her name and stealing her documents which she says I did when we were staying together.
I am really scared and dont know what to do. Can I show witnesses who overheard us talking about the loan? Can I show emails she sent to my parents where she made no mention about the loan? (I mean you really would want to tell a person's parents that their child has done) The emails were sent AFTER the initial complaint. Can you please give me advise.

In short, you can present all the evidence that you have which is relevant to the case at hand to include witnesses who may know something and physical evidence such as e-mails. My suggestion is the contact a criminal defense attorney and ask for a free consultation to find out what you are up against. This is not a situation which you should take lightly.
