Question
24 years ago my grandfather gave an unfiled POA to his daughter while he had surgury. She transfered millions of dollars worth of property over to her brother with  his "intentions" of taking care of her.  What can the rest of the family do to about this greedy act?

Answer
Dana,

24 years creates a hell of hurdle.  It is also going to be very difficult to go back and reconstruct the records.  Your only recourse at this point is for the remaining heirs to retain the assistance of an attorney.  You need to shop around and find one that is expert in probate and estate law.  I have a strong feeling this will be a long drawn out affair, probably expensive and very very messy.

I doubt that a criminal case can be made out of it after this much time with our a through review of the records and your states statutes

sorry i can't be more helpful
