Question i am being charged with delivery of a controlled substance. this is what happened. i was approached by snitch and asked for some cocaine i did not sell to the snitch, but someone else at the same party sold to him. now the police are saying that i referred the snitch to that other guy. i know that i didnt do that. the fact being that i did not sell to the snitch nor did i get caught with anything so can i still be charged with that offense.
Answer Since I don't know any of the details of this case except for the short version that you gave me I really can't tell you "if you can be charged". But you start out by saying that you are "being charged" so I guess that the police have enough probable cause to charge you. I would retain an attorney asap.
