i did not even move into the apt when i went back they new i was upset i want my damage deposit can they keep it when i did not do any damage the other tendent did

I was going to be  moving in to a apt but when i went into the apt for first time it was dirty it had not been cleaned in the kitchen on the counter i saw a cockroach dead the kitchen had not been cleand frountdoor frame had been kick in i went back to the office and told them they did not know nothen about apt. being bad i need help

    What is your question?  It doesn't sounds like this is a police matter and more like a landlord/tenant situation.

   Ok you need to read this carefully.  This is not a police matter.  It is a civil matter which means that it is a dispute over a contract.  It has nothing to do with the police.  You need to get in touch with whoever handles landlord/tenant affairs in your area.

I am very knowledgeable about search and seizure and taught at the police academy for several years on a variety of subjects. I can answer questions that a lot of attorneys cannot since they do not have "street experience".

Bachelor of Science degree in Criminolgy from the University of Maryland.
