-----Question-----
I was stopped by officer for warrant. She took me in,took my licience & removed my plates from car. Car is in storage which is going up in cost. Can she be dealt with in some way?
-----Answer-----
can she be dealt with?  I dont see how, or why you would want to, i think your attention should be focused on getting your car out of impound and getting yourself out of trouble.
If your warrant was for anything relating to the vehicle (traffic tickets) they can impound the car until you pay off the fees...if it was for something like assault, they cannot hold the car.

Answer
I'm sure the car was legal, but what was the warrant for?
If the warrant was connected to the vehicle, then they can impound.  What's the difference that she took the plates off, I don't see the point?  And I dont mean to say that sarcastically, please elaborate on the problem.

Please do not ask me questions regarding possible terms of imprisonment. Further, if your question has to do with statutes of limitation, be aware that if you have been out of the state to avoid the charges, the statute will not apply. Finally, do not ask questions such as "I want to make a will for my kids, can you write it and email it to me" I can answer any questions regarding the criminal justice system, from arrest all the way through appeals, and for that matter, many other generic legal issues as well.
