Question
i was caught by video survaillence stealing shampoo from grocery store.i was taken upstairs by loss prevention while he asked me about my identification.he said i would be notified within 30 days if charges would be pressed.merchandise totaled
16.00 dollars.what do stores usually do?i have no record at all.does it matter that i was not asked to sign anything?please let me know.i am so sorry

   Don't you think that you should be calling an attorney instead of messaging a police officer about your problem?  It sounds like that you are going to be charged with a criminal offense which will alter the rest of your life.  You need to retain an attorney asap.

I am very knowledgeable about search and seizure and taught at the police academy for several years on a variety of subjects. I can answer questions that a lot of attorneys cannot since they do not have "street experience".

Bachelor of Science degree in Criminolgy from the University of Maryland.
