AboutJack Toomey Expertise Please do not ask me about potential jail sentences that you, your friends, or family might receive in court. There is no way for me to know that. Only a judge could answer a question like that. I am also NOT a probation officer or parole officer so I cannot answer questions that relate to parole or probation. Also please keep in mind that every state has different laws. If you are planning to ask a question about a specific law or criminal charge that pertains to your state only it could be difficult to answer. I also cannot give you legal advice on what to do or what not to do in court.
Retired police officer with 26 years experience. Worked in the patrol
division as well as over 14 years in the detective bureau. Investigated a
wide range of crime such as murder, rape, robbery, theft, fraud, missing

questions about criminal law and especially as it applies to police work. I
taught at the police academy for several years and am especially
knowledgeable about search and seizure. Any question about criminal law is
welcome! Please don't ask me to do your homework or ask me questions that obviously come from your teachers or professors. I also do not do online interviews or surveys. Young people need to gain face to face interviewing skills. Local police officers usually are very agreeable to assist in these assignments.

Question my question is for a friend of mine. she owns a small beauty shop in her home. recently she has had some problems with a girl who used to be a friend of hers. this girl came to her shop, which is connected to her home, while she had customers in her shop. my friend did not want any contact with this girl, this girls husband had called her all day and each time my friend answered the phone, she politely said, good bye and hung up the phone. the girl came to her place of business, and was told to leave. she did not, she threatened one of my friends customers, and wouldn't leave. my friend had called 911, which recorded all this women's yelling. when the police finally did arrive, the women had left. the police would not file trespassing charges against this women. so happens the women is friends with the officer. my friend went to the court to try and file a restraining order against this women and was told she could not without a complaint number. she then called another local officer who told her he had known this women all her life and he would go over and talk to her. he would not help her either. my question is, is it legal for this women to come into her shop, refuse to leave and threaten her clients? she is being given the run around and is now scared to death of this women and what she will do next.
Answer I didn't say a thing about this being a homework question. You were reading that on my profile where I ask people not to send me their homework and expect me to do it for them.
