Question
QUESTION: Did the Catholic Church have any role in assisting the Nazi regime? If so, why would it be motivated to support a pagan, anti-Christian dictator?

ANSWER: The Church went out of its way to protect Jews from Nazi Manhunts. Pope Pius XII and the Church tried ceaselessly to stop the madness. Enemies of the Church say otherwise, but if you check the microfilm for the New York Times from the 1940's, they will be. found praising the Pope for his efforts. Now that same newspaper says the opposite. The media hates the Church, and when they can't find a legitimate the Church has made to exaggerate, they usually make it up. If you're interested, I can give you other sources to read too that confirm my position. I'm sorry it took so long to answer, I don't get that many questions and so forgot to check my e-mail

I can answer apologetics questions. I will argue from a biblical perspective and a Catholic understanding of scripture as well as tradition. My goal is to clear up confusion about what the Church teaches and why, catholic history, and so forth. It has been said that people have problems with Christianity, not because of what it actually teaches and stands for, but because of what they mistakenly believe it teaches and stands for. I can prove this to be an accurate statement. G.K. Chesterton said Christianity hasn't been tried and found wanting, it has been found wanting without having been tried.
