I don't feel safe without them in any room of my home, and I never go anywhere without wearing my crucifix around my neck. I believe these things are an extension of God and will protect me. I have them everywhere. Am I wrong? Thank You.

You have to ask yourself were in scripture does it say wearing or having a picture is as good as having a relationship with Christ.
They are nothing more than symbols of what Christ represents.

2 Cor 5:7 say that "we walk by faith not by sight."

What if you were in a situataion were you had no croos or picture, would your faith fall apart. If you have to have such symbols around you , you have to ask yourself how strong is yor fait, if it has to rely on man-made objects.
