Critics of Jehovah`s Witnesses/Persistent Jehovah's Witnesses

Question
Dear Mr. Cook, I have a concern about Jehovah's Witnesses. They go to everyone's house, asking them to either convert or listen to their speech (I don't know the exact reason what they're trying to do), & even when you tell them "I'm not interested", they just don't get the picture, & keep saying "Please, you must hear me out". As the subject title says, JWs are persistent, & never give up (apparently), & if there was a way to keep them from coming back every single day, I'd love to know. Also, I hate their belief that they are the only ones going to Heaven. That is both pathetic & arrogant. Is there a reason why they believe this?

Answer
Hi Kenneth,

Calling house to house is the JWs way to preach their beliefs,
and get people to join them.

They should if requested not to call should do so.
They will put you down as a "Do Not Call"
I think if you are asking those that call on you they will probably not tell,
the Elder in charge of the territory they are working.
If you can find out the address of the Kingdom Hall,
or their "Presiding Overseer/ Co-ordinator of the Body of Elders"
and put your request formally in writing, and send it to them.
If they still continue to call after that, tell them that it constitutes,
harrassment and you will speak the authorities about it.

Their  teaching is that only 144,000 go to heaven,
based on Revelation 7.
