Thank you for your time.  I have been trying to do some research on the Governing body, I have a list of their names, but I am trying to trace some history of them.  I guess my main question is: Is one of them Australian? If so, which one and how old is he?

Sorry for the delay in answering, I have had computer and internet problems.

Thank you for your question. I had to do some searching through Watchtower publications to find this out.  I do not remember the names of the men on the governing body, in fact I do not know any JW that could name them. I have tried to find out where they are from as well.  Some I could find a definite mention of, for some others I only mentioned where they had served and a couple I could find no mention of where they served.

As of September 1 2005, the members were

Geoffrey W Jackson – from Tasmania Australia Member since September 2005
Anthony Morris – From ? Member since September 2005
C W Barber – From USA Member since September 1977
J E Barr – From London, Member since September 1977
S F Herd – From ? Member since October 1999
T Jaracz – From USA Member since November 1975
M.S Lett – From Member since October 1999
G. Lφsch – From Austria ? Member since July 1994
G H Pierce - From USA ? Member since October 1999
A D Schroeder – From USA ? Member since November 1975
D H Splane – From USA ?Member since October 1999
D Sydlik – From USA ? Member since November 1975

I am not sure, but I seem to remember hearing that at least 1 has since died, and it could be 2 that have.  I was unable to find out anything about their ages.
