| Comment | I did tell the student that the picture might be used as a christmas card but she's a child. Her father is a teacher where I work and I had planned to ask his opinion of making it simple his opinion of the wording. I had to read the response twice to figure out that the volunteer seemed offended and I in turn was offended that the volunteer questioned me about my concern if my student aide were of another faith. Most other faiths are clear and have some kind of clear message on how they stand. However, since JW's don't celebrate any event but seem to be ok with accepting gifts as long as they are not wrapped, etc., I respectably just wanted the student to be included instead of not having her in the picture. I don't even think using "Happy Holidays" will be acceptable. I've decided to use an "apple" format that was red with a 2008 calendar and said, "A Gift for you, From ...", in green. There is no Christmas wording indicated and I think a useable gift will be accepted. | ||
