Question
Are the miracles performed by Peter Youngren real or staged?
Many of these preachers have been discredited over the years,but Youngren is the only one I can think of that is in the mainstream and still performs faith healing,although his rallies are always in far off countries where people might not be as sophisticated.
Also,why do these preachers only do 'healing'-something that is easy to fake?
If they really wanted converts wouldnt they do something else,say with a scientific observer present? Thanks!

I do not know the person that you are referring to here but I do know that miracles and healings are real and for today. Jesus came to start off this process and we, as the body of Christ, continue following him in this way as well as in his nature.


I , myself, have done many miracles, demon deliverances and healings over the years, in Jesus name.

The difference is that some people advertise this and others don't. Some even try and gain money from it. But lets not throw out the baby with the bath water, the real exists. Some can fake miracles but not all. The real exists.

Jesus said that we would do like he did and greater things than these we would do. He meant it and its real. He asked us to lay hands on the sick and promised that if we did it in his name, they would recover.


So some genuine men of God do just this. The difference is that Jesus did not seek advertising whereas some of the modern preachers do this as a business and advertise everywhere. Seeking to draw people in. Jesus on the other hand told everyone not to tell anyone.  Everyone he healed he told them not to tell. They didn't always obey what he asked but almost on every occasion he asked the healed and those surrounding not to tell anyone.

We are not, as you rightly note, cheap fakes. We are followers of the Christ and as such we do as He told us. Following him not only in nature, but also in ministry style.
