Croatia - Zagreb to Split

Expert: Igor Karasi - 3/9/2008

Question
Hello,

I am planning to travel from Zagreb to Split or Dubrovnik.  Can you tell me if it would be better to use the bus or the train, how long the travel would be and about how much the ticket would cost?

Thank you in advance,
Jan

Answer
Take the bus, trains are terrible in Croatia.
From Zagreb to Split there is around 5 hours drive with bus. Very nice highway, so the drive will be nice..

Split to Dubrovink is around 5 hours, no highway, but I suggest that
you go during day time cause the view at sea and coast its beautiful !

Price is around 30 EURO one way.
