Croatia - Travel from Italy to Hvar

Expert: Igor Karasi - 5/7/2008

Question
Hello:

I am trying to plan a trip to Hvar, then on to Dubrovnik. The original plan was to take the train from Venice to Anocona, then the ferry to Split, but the cabins are now full. Is there a better way to get from Venice to Hvar? The date we would like to travel is June 29, 2008. From Hvar we plan to go to Dubrovnik, the back to Italy via Bari.

Thank you for you help,

Dennis

Answer
Hello,

Hvar only connection is with ferry form Split and Drvenik (south Hvar).
I suggest you to find connection from Venice to Split, or better is Anocna - Split. Also you have connection from Rijeka (Croatia) to Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik.

I suggest you to take a look at www.jadrolinija.hr

Nice stay in Croatia.
