Croatia/Croatian Island hopping

Question
Myself and a friend arrive into Dubrovnik on 17th Aug and need to be in Zadar on the 22nd Aug and want to island hop on the way up.
Our original plan was to have a night in Dubrovnik then travel to Hvar, Brac and Split, eventually arriving in Zadar (with a night/2nights in each depending on distances). We thought we'd be able to do this all by ferry but after a lot of research it is seemingly impossible....does anyone have any ideas as to whether this is possible or suggest any alternative routes/stopping places along the way??
we are looking for lively places/nightlife/beaches/scenery
any suggestions would be welcome as feeling a bit lost at the moment! Thanks!

Answer
Hi Chloe,

the best possible way is to take bus drive from Dubrovnik to Drvenik where is ferry stop from land to island Hvar. If possible take bus to city of Hvar (I always have been there with car so I don't know if there is a bus line but I'm pretty much sure that there is one.)

City of Hvar is great, you will have lively place, nightlife, beaches and scenery (clime to old fortress above city).
Dubrovnik is also very nice, the center.

From Hvar you have everyday catamaran boat to Split, about 1.30h sail time.

If you need any additional help I'm here !
