QUESTION: Hello Igor. I'm after some advice on the best way for a family group of 9 to travel from Venice to Rijeka on March 30 2010 please. We'd like to get there in the shortest time possible, and if possible, return to Venice in the same day.   thank you.

ANSWER: The best way for group of 9 people to travel from Venice to Rijeka and back in the same day is with rented minibus. It's wise to book 10-15 days before coming to Venice. I can offer you a few Croatian transport companies. www.fils.hr www.autotrans.hr

From Venice to Rijeka there is app. 250km, about 3 hours of drive.
