QUESTION: about question #2 I always thought a male cousin was called bratic, but for female cousin I wasn't sure.  Also my family is from Istra, so if you can re-translate to istrianski dialect, I would appreciate very much - I haven't been to Europe since I was a little boy

Answer
female cousin is - sestricna
male cousin is - bratic

In istria is also used the term - zerman (male) and zermana (female)
for distant relatives.

You can then say:

Moji dragi bratići, sestrične, zermani i zermanke, želim vam sve najbolje
za Božić i Novu 2010 godinu, puno zdravlja, ljubavi i razumjevanja !
Vaš Senad.

Translated:

My dearest cousin, cousin, I wish you all the best for Christmas and New
2010 year, health, love and understanding ! Yours Senad.
