Next year around September I will be going to Vukovar to see my husband who lives there now, and we are talking about having a second honeymoon in Croatia. Can you please suggest some places to see and go that aren't crowded with tourists and could give a nice romantic weekend. Thank you in advance. =]

You can chose from couple of possibilities, depending on your wishes.
Nice places to spend 2-3 days, including travel from Vukovar by car, is going to Rovinj, Istria (http://www.tzgrovinj.hr/ENG/foto_galerija/index.asp), very romantic and in mid September not so crowded by tourist. By the way back you can go to Motovun, http://www.tz-motovun.hr/ and spend a night in a local hotel or private accomodation.
