Croatia - Campings by the sea.

Question
Hi Vedran!
It's nice to find someone helpful! I hope You can help me to find the solition for my problem.
By the summer 2005, me and my friend, plan to travel to Croatia with 2 caravans - homemobiles (VW T3 - the old ones). We'll spend 14 days there. We are looking for 3 to 5 places to camp and spend 3-5 days on each. We would like to find silent, not too crowdy places where we could enjoy living by the sea, diving, coping with natural environment etc. We planned to start our journey from north part of Croatia, to end by Dubrovnik. After that we wanted to cross Bosnia and Herzegovina to travel straight to Poland (where we are from). Is it possible to travel through B&H without visa? Or maybe can we buy it by the border? We don't want to travel in "blind date" style, becouse there will be two 2 years old children with us. Can You recommend some places? Except the sea we are interested with Plitvica region (lakes?). Can you give us some general advices about travelling to Croatia?
I'm looking forvard to hear from You!
Thanks.
Slawek.

Answer
For more info on camps in Croatia check out the website of Croatian camping union http://www.camping.hr/ .
I don't know if you need a visa for B&H, maybe your foreign ministry could help you with that.
As far as recomendations go I would suggest area around Omis and Makarska Riviera if you like diving, rafting and outdoor activities, waterfalls of river Krka are also very nice as well as UNESCO cities of Split and Trogir.
Generaly everyting you have in Poland in terms of infrastructure and services you can find here and more because we are more tourist oriented. The country is safe and people are hospitable. Croatian touris board can provide ore detailed info www.croatia.hr
