Hi Vedran
I will be grateful for some more help.  As we have tried to put some detail into our trip we realise what you meant about not having enough time. Could you please rank in order what you consider are the places we "must see" during our travel down the Dalmatian coast.

Here is a short overview, starting from the north of Dalmatia.
1. Zadar - old town
2. Kornati- daily excursions by small boats organized from Vodice
3. Šibenik - old town, cathedral, forts
4. Primosten - old town, beaches not too bad
5. Trogir - old town (UNESCO world heritage list)
6. Salona - Roman ruins near Solin
7. Split - Roman imperial palace(UNESCO world heritage list)
7.1 Makarska and Omis Riviera - beaches
...all the islands can be reached by ferry or hydrofoil from Split
8. island Brac - Bol for its beach and Dominican monastery, lots of small fishing villages with loverly old stone houses, spectacular view from Vidova Gora
9. island of Hvar - Stari Grad, Hektorovic villa; Hvar, old town,theatre, fortress; Vrboska, lovely small churches
10. island of Korcula - Vela Luka; city of Korcula knight's game "Moreska"
11. Dubrovnik - old town (UNESCO world heritage list)
12. Elafiti islands (near Dubrovnik) - daily trips by boat
