My husband and I hope to arrive in Trieste Airport
on october 8th at 14.10 and we need to know if we can get a bus or a train to Crikvenica and at what time. will it be difficult to find a bus/train station and will they speak english? also we need to get back to trieste airport on the 15th october for  our flight at 14.35.  Will the public  transport be  frequent at this time of year and do we have to book? Also is a car neccessary to get around? we would prefer buses or trains. we will be greatful for any information

directly from Trieste to Crikvenica I don't think you will find either a train or a bus. It is more likely you will get a bus or  a train connection to Rijeka and from there there s a regular buse service to Crikvenica.
No booking is neccessary in this time of the year. The car is not strictly needed, depends on how a tght your schedule is.
