Crochet/repairing a hole in an afghan

Question
My Mom crocheted a Red Afghan Years ago and I have had it in plastic for years.  After looking at it recently I noticed two areas where the yarn was pulled and there is a hole there now. Is there a way to have the 2 holes repaired? I want to give the afghan to my daughter as a keepsake. Please reply.
Thanks,
Maryellen Cantlin

Since I am getting the feel you want to repair it yourself, I have included some link that will give you some techniques on how to repair it.

This is a hard question, since its not easy to repair and make it look like it never happened. I have some pieces that have damage, and that is just part of what the piece is all about.

Anything else I can help with, please let me know.

have a good one
