Question
What does it mean to "skip" in crochet, and what would be the spanish translation.  Thank you!!

Answer
Silvia:

To "skip" in a pattern means to "not work" the stitch / stitches that is stated: Example "skip next two SC" - you would not work the next two SC on that row, you would then begin at the third one.

In Spanish it will depend who writes it. It can state: "skip next two stitches" can be translated to: "no trabajes los proxima dos puntos" "saltar los proximos dos puntos" "brinca los proximos dos puntos".

If the pattern you are reading is coming from Spain, it would be a visual pattern, not a written one. Translating a pattern from English to Spanish can be a challenge.

I do hope this answers your question.

Thanks and have a great one

Happy Hooking
