Question
What is Aunt Lydias "Beadies" Yarn? I have a pattern for a child's vest. It calls for Aunt Lydia's "Beadies", Art 159 (1l76 ounce/66 yard ball). Can you think of a substitute if it is not available? Thanks

Answer

I don't know if its readily available, but at least you will get a chance to see it.

You can use any other thick yarn, the important part is to make sure to get the correct stated Gauge.

Hope this help you. Should you have any questions, please let me know
