Question
How do I design a pattern for a table runner with a name down the center?  Also.....how do I put a design or picture of some sort in an afghan?  Help?  Please and thank you

Hey, April: adding a name down the center of a table runner, will require learning FILET crochet, as will adding a picture or design. It will also require that you lay your design out on graph paper, and follow the graph, rather than following a written pattern. The process of learning filet crochet is fairly easy, but explaining it is not! I am sending you a link that will take you to a site where you will find a tutorial on filet crochet. Hope this helps!
