Crochet/issues with a snowflake garland pattern

OK i am trying the pattern for a snowflake garland I am not a very expeirenced crocheter but i can do more than a beginner.. this may be a stupid question and it may be in front of my face but i cant get it please help.. Here is the instructions:

First Snowflake: Ch 5; join with a slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, [2 sc in ring, ch 3] 6 times; join with a slip st
in first sc – 6 ch-3 loops.
Rnd 2: Slip st in next sc, ch 1, [(2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc) all in ch-3
loop] 6 times; join.
Rnd 3: Slip st in next sc, ch 1, [(sc, ch 3, sc, ch 5, sc, ch 3,
sc) all in ch-3 loop, ch 2] 6 times; join. Fasten off.


the part i cant get is the -6 ch 3 loop what is that and how do it please help.. thanks so much

That is a very nice piece.

Rnd 1 - the 6 ch3 loop is only to tell you after completing this rnd, what you will have. Its not a stitch to do / complete. so after doing that round, you will have 6 chain 3 loops.
