QUESTION: The instructions say to ch 144 with variegated. Row 1 wrong side. Working over pink, What does working over pink mean? There is also a highlighted sentence work over unused color throughout afghan.

Is the variegated with pink? from what I can understand, you will only work those stitches. what is the name of the afghan, so I can see a picture. Its hard to advice when you cant see the whole instruction or a picture.

QUESTION: The name is Watercolor wrap from fresh afghans by leisure arts.The pattern calls for Variegated 13 ounces and 6 ounce of pink, The beginning chain is with the variegated yarn. row 1: working over pink, sc in second ch from hook ,ch 1(skip next ch,sc in next ch,ch 1)4X skip next ch *sc in next ch changing to pink.

Answer
There is a piece of instructions missing. There should be instructions to join the Pink thread. There is something being done with pink at the beginning. It seems like you change back and forth between the colors.

Read the instruction further up, look for "join pink" the you would work your stitched "over" the pink thread, so there is a hint of variegated and pink showing.
