Crochet/Crochet Bolero Pattern LC1485

Question
I also had a problem with that pattern.  I've crocheted many things from tea cozies to baby dresses, bloomers, hats, etc.  But still am pretty new so I haven't got the knack of fixing or altering a pattern yet.

I get to Row 3 on their pattern and run out of stitches after repeating the "dc in next 29,(39,49 dc),"  The pattern can be found at http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Crochet/Projects/Accessories/LC1485+Crochet+...

I've started over 3 or 4 times to come up with the same scenario each time.  If you could help that would be WONDERFUL.

Thanks.

Answer
I look for 3 possible problems:
1) the pattern is wrong (it happens!)
2) the pattern is correct, but the stitcher is interpreting something other than what the designer intended
3) the pattern is correct, the stitcher is interpreting it correcting, but doing the actual stitching wrong

There are two errors in Row 3:  cross out the first "skip first dc" and at the end of the third row it says "skip next dc" when it should say "skip next space".

So row 3 should look like this:  ch 3 over the first dc, dc in next dc, ch 1 and skip a space, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, skip a space, in the next dc make a dc, ch3, dc in the same space (a modified v stitch); skip the next ch 2 space, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip a space, dc in each of the next 29 dc,ch 1, skip a space, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ship a ch 2 space, in the next dc make the modified v stitch (dc, ch 3, dc), skip a space, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, skip a space, dc in next dc, dc in top of ch 3.

Make sure that you get the dc, ch 3 dc all in one dc; don't dc in one dc, ch 3, skip a space and dc in the next dc.

Now to Row 4:  there is an error there, also.
cross out the "skip first dc"
