ANSWER: Hi Susan!
Thanks for asking. Do you mean that you want the whole afghan in the shape of a fan that is sort of like a semi circle? Or do you mean you want an afghan consisting of a number of fans each in a square pattern and then all of them stitched together to make an afghan? I think I have a pattern for the latter, but I can probably modify those mini fans into an afghan. Anyway, please let me know.

Answer
Hi Susan!
Hi Susan, I am still looking! I did find an afghan using the search on google: "cathedral rose window afghan". It is from Annie's Attic. This probably isn't what you want, but is this a similar shape of the afghan you are looking for? And do you remember if the pattern was from a magazine, a craft leaflet or a book? That may help narrow my search. I have a book of crocheted quilt patterns, but I am trying to find it. Things tend to get buried amongst my things. I am going out of town for a few days on family matters so I won't be able to respond until late next week. Thanks!

Expertise

I have crocheted many doilies, I enjoy working with crochet thread. I have crocheted numerous afghans. But I have little to no experience in the afghan stitch, or hairpin lace. If you have a question pertaining to a pattern in a magazine, book or leaflet, please include the name and # of it, and the page or pattern #. There is a slight possibility I may have that pattern, and can refer to it. Nearly all of my crochet magazines, leaflests, etc are over 5 years old. Many are from the 80's and before. Although I have crocheted sweaters and slippers,I don't feel I have done enough of them to really give good advice as to assembling the pieces, but can give advice on the type of stitches.

Experience

I have been a crocheter for over 30 years.
