Crochet/Looking for an afghan pattern

Question

afghan
Hello Bea,
Hope you can help me.  I am looking for an afghan pattern that my mother had in the mid 80s.  It is a double crochet diamond afghan with a ruffled edging.  We lost the pattern in a fire last August and lost mom in October.  Would really like to make for a wedding gift next Sept.  So would greatly appreciate any help.

Answer
Hi, Tammy! I got a request for this exact same pattern a couple of weeks ago, and I looked everywhere for it, with no luck! I thought I might have it in one of my books, because it looks so familiar, but I don't.  It's really been bugging me, too! I'll continue to search, and see if any of my crochet friends know of it, and if I locate it, I'll contact you! Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Best,  Bea

CommentHello Bea, Thanks so much for the help. It is an old pattern and I wasn't sure if I could find it. Well I guess I will have to look at the afghan and see if I can pick out the pattern. Thanks for your time. Tammy
