Crochet/looking for a pattern

Question
Hello,
I am looking for a pattern and I thought you might be able to steer me in the direction of it.  I would like a pattern of a buffalo to put in an afghan or on a pillow cover.  I have looked on the internet but do not see one.  I thought you may know of a book with this pattern or maybe a website with one.
Thank you in advance

Answer
Hey Brenda!  Here's a link for a filet pattern (free!)

http://stylish-crochet.blogspot.com/2008/06/filet-crochet-buffalo-chart-1.html

It's written for size 10 thread, but can work for yarn as well. The #10 thread would be good for a pillow cover.

Hope this works!

Best,  Bea

I consider myself an expert in the field of hand crochet. I have been crocheting for 45 years. I can answer most question on the differnt stitches, as well as the methods used to create speciality items. The art of crochet, after 2 decades of being out of fashion, is enjoying a modest come back. I want to help those newcomers looking for a little/lot of help to get started. Once they are comfortable with the process, they can relax & begin to create the heirlooms of tomorrow.
