Hello I was wondering how to make this scarf and if it's crocheted. What
size of hook to use and what type of stitch and how to do this stitch.

What I originally thought was crochet, may be knitting. Either way, it looks like they used large needles with a double strand.

The pattern is a simple ribbing whether knit or crochet.
