Hi

i saw you answered the same question I have about reading the round 3 and 4 on the patterns as to where to put the FPDC etc.. I wonder is you could send me the instructions you have sent other people as i am finding it impossible.

Hey, Julie! I didn't keep a copy of my answer about the spiral beret, but I went back and took a look at the pattern. The other lady was asking where the stitches went in row three. The fpdc is just another dc made around the post of a dc. So, when it says "dc in and work fpdc in next dc, you do exactly that. forget that some are fpdc and some are regular dc,and treat it just like you would a row of dc, because they are. So, work a dc in the top of the next dc, then make a fpdc around the post of that same dc, then dc in the top of the next dc,then dc in the top of the next dc, then make a fpdc around the post of the same dc.... See how it works now? You're just making every other dc into a fpdc, and just double crocheting in the every other dc. One fpdc, then one regular dc, all around. The same for row 4, except you're making 2 regular dc, and then a fpdc.
