Question
I have crocheted a small afghan with 2 different colors( to use up leftover yarn) the pattern was worked 3 rows dc and 1 row hdc alternating. In the process of changing out the colors I ended up with the tails of yarn that I tied off knoted %26 cut! I should have weaved them in end because now I have knots up %26 down the side of my work, how can I  hide theses knots? And how do I change yarn colors better in the future?

Answer
Hi, JO!! Once the knots are in place, the only thing you can do, is either try to hide the knots in nearby stitches or, you can try adding a simple edging down the sides. I've done both, and the edging is easier, pulling the knots is tedious, and by this time, I'm tired of messing with the piece. So, it's your choice. Also I'm sending you a link so you can see how to do color changes, it's pretty cool!
If you need more help, just let me know!

I consider myself an expert in the field of hand crochet. I have been crocheting for 45 years. I can answer most question on the differnt stitches, as well as the methods used to create speciality items. The art of crochet, after 2 decades of being out of fashion, is enjoying a modest come back. I want to help those newcomers looking for a little/lot of help to get started. Once they are comfortable with the process, they can relax & begin to create the heirlooms of tomorrow.
