Question
I hope you can help me.  I am trying to make a baby poncho.  this is the pattern instructions: http://www.royalyarns.com//assets/images/free-crochet-patterns/baby/LT1431-TLC-F...
Rnd 4 is a cluster which I did with 5 lps left on hook instead of 3, which I hope will work on this pattern.
NOW, Rnd 5 is the split cluster which I hope you can explain better than the instructions.  Is it somehow worked on the previous row, and if so how?  Please help me with a clearer explanation, if possible.  It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Ann

Answer
Ann:

Thanks for the question.

The Split Cluster is worked on the NEXT SPACE, not row. So lets take the DEC, you work that on the next stitch, regarles what the stitch is. The Split cl is worked on the next space... (in this case the ch 3)so its just how you been working the clusters.

I do hope this make sense. Should you need any help, please let me know.

Happy hooking
