Question
the instructions say to work pattern from right side only, not turning at the end of each row.  You do only one row of each color.  My question is do I tie it off at the end of each row before beginning the next row with another color?  I am worried about losing stitches and the piece getting narrower as I go up.  The pattern does not say to do a chain stitch at the beginning of each row either.  What are your thoughts?

Answer
Donna:

Thanks for the question.

Since this pattern is keeping the row in one way only. Then at the end of the row, you would fasten off that color, and make a join at the beginning of the next row.

Just make sure to keep track of the stitches (so if the row has 30 stitches, that each row that you create has 30, that way the piece will stay even, and not create shortage or have the piece warp). Also when you are done with the row, secure the tail, or weave it in, so as you are working the rows it does not look like you have fringe at the end.

Hope this helped. Should you need any assistance, please let me know.

Happy Hooking
