Question
I'm making an afghan. It's a mile-a-minute pattern.  I'm stuck on the Rnd 2 of the border.  The pattern says '2dc in next ch-4sp, place marker in last dc made for joining placement, 2 dc in same sp'.  Can you help?  Thanks.

Answer
Diana:

Thanks for the question.

So the pattern called for 2 double crochet in the next chain 4 space. You would place a marker on the last double crochet made, this will help in joining. then after you would do 2 double crochet on the same space that you did the 2 double crochet.

I think what had you confused was the marker placement.

I hope this shed some light and I was able to answer your question. Should you need any assistance, please let me know.

Happy Hooking
