Question
I have a pattern for a baby blanket and at the end of the first row its says "turn- sts 100." I know sts means Stitches, but what do they want me to do specifically? Here's the full pattern in case the context is useful:
ROW1 (RIGHT SIDE): Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc2tog, *dc in next 5 ch**, [dc2tog] twice; rep from *to last 4ch, end at **; dc2tog, dc in last 2 ch; turn - 100 sts.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS: Dc2tog= [yo and draw up a lp in next st or ch, yo and draw thru 2 lps] twice, yo and draw thru all three lps on hook.

Thanks so very much for your assistance! I am a beginner and I need all the help I can get. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Laura:

Thanks for the question.

What that means is, at the end of doing all the stitches per the instruction, you will have 100 stitches. So if you go from the beginning of that row till the end and count the stitches, that is the number you will have.  This is a way to make sure you have the right amount of stitches and doing the pattern correctly.

Hope this helped. Should you need any assistance, please let me know.

Happy Hooking
