Question
QUESTION: It would help me very much if you could explain to me exactly how to crochet the following rows typed below.  I have been crocheting for many years but i am have a problem with really understanding what to do with these instructions.  I need you to explain rows 3,4,5 and 6 all the rest i understand
row 3: Dc in each dc and in 33rd ch of beg ch, ch3, turn
row 4: Dc in each dc, and in 3rd ch of beg ch, ch1, turn
row 5:(right side) Sc in first 2 dc; *ch6, sc in next dc; rep from * across to last 2 sts, sc in last dc; and in 3rd ch of beg; ch3 turn
row 6: Dc in first sc; * working behind ch-6 lps of row 5, dc in each sc; ch 3, turn
If you could please explain to me exactly what to do in these rows i would really appreciate it.

Thank you for your help

ANSWER: Cheryl:

Thanks for the question.

Row 3: You will do Dc on each of the previous row DC, and then one the 33rd chain of the beginning chain, then a chain 3 and turn. - so I am assuming you have some dc done and then some chains from the foundation chain that are left un-stitched.

Row 4: You will do Dc on each of the previous rows DC, and then on top of the chain 3. Chain one and turn.

Row 5: (this you will mark as the right side) Single crochet on the first 2 DC, chain 6, sc on the next dc, then you will do the repeat (chain 6, sc on the next dc) to last 2 stitches, and then do sc on the last two)since the chain 3 counts as a stitch.

Row 6: DC on first SC, you will then pull forward the chain 6 and work on the SC exposed, (this is working behind the ch-6 loops)

I do hope this helped. If you need any assistance, please let me know.

QUESTION: I have two questions first off I made a typo on row 3 instead of it saying 33rd ch of beg it should read 3rd ch of beg. so can you please resend me your instructions with the correction.
Could you go over row 5 again. I would appreciate it especially the part where it says to sc in the last dc; and in 3rd ch of beg; and then ch3 and turn

Thank you again
Cheryl

Answer
Cheryl:

Thanks for the question.

Row 3: You will do Dc on each of the previous row DC, and then one last DC on the top of the chain 3. Then you will do a chain 3 and turn.

Row 4: You will do Dc on each of the previous rows DC, and then on top of the chain 3. Chain one and turn.

Row 5: (this you will mark as the right side) Single crochet on the first 2 DC, chain 6, sc on the next dc, then you will do the repeat since the instructions has a asterisk to represent a repeat marker (chain 6, sc on the next dc) to last 2 stitches, and then do sc on the next stitch and one last sc on the top of the chain 3. You will then do a chain 3, and turn.

Row 6: DC on first SC, you will then pull forward the chain 6 and work on the SC exposed, (this is working behind the ch-6 loops)

I hope this helped. If you need any assistance, please let me know.
