Question
QUESTION: I stumbled upon a note to you about a baby blanket that combined the afghan stitch with either sc or dc panels. It was shown done in yellow with various animals cross stitched in yarn on the various afghan stitched panels. You posted a pic from 1974 marked Eric's. The pic didn't load, but I have a feeling this is the pattern I'm looking for. I made it for a friend in 1977 and for my brother's first child in 1981. I REALLY want that pattern. Can you help? Yes, I made this for my first nephew, Eric, in 1974. I don't know if it's the one you're looking for. I posted it for a questioner in AllExperts but it was not the one she wanted. I will be happy to send it to you tomorrow. If you don't get it, let me know. Sometimes I ahve trouble with the attachments feature.

I have no way of obtaining that through AllExperts.
I have one problem, though. One, I am leaving for New Orleans and won't be back until Sunday evening. Second, the computer and scanner that I put it on is at work so I wouldn't be able to do it until Monday anyway.

Experience
I have been crocheting for over 50 years. As a child growing up in New Orleans, LA, I had aunts and older cousins who taught me, but now they are all gone and sadly, there is no one who crochets in my area. I hope to be able to meet fellow crocheters through this website, and I'd be delighted if I could help someone answer a question. I'm sure I'll be asking my share, also.
I specifically enjoy doilies and afghans. I really like designing filet crochet. I don't make clothes, other than hats and scarves.
