Question
What does "Yoh and draw up a loop,Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook" mean? I am trying to do a Bernat baby blanket pattern called lace border blanket. Thank you Jan

Answer
Jan:

Thanks for the question.

YO is a yarn over: is to wrap the thread over the crochet hook.

Then you would take the crochet hook and put it to the designated stitch, base of the pattern instruction, and pick up the yarn, and bring it forward, so now in the hook you will have 2 loops, you will YO again and bring that loop through the two loops you have on the hook.

This is a half double crochet stitch.

Hope this helped. Should you need any assistance, please let me know.

Happy hooking
