Question
QUESTION: I have a book called (the crochet stitch bible) and on page 114 there is a pattern called "spiders web". I want to use caron simply soft yarn  amd wamt the width to be about 12 inches.
the mulltiple of 14 sts +1 (add 5 for foundation ch),   At the end of row 1 is says 1 sc in last stitch.  If I want to make this wider then what do i do about this last stitch.

ANSWER: Gimmy:

Thanks for the question.

The multiple is used to enlarge the pattern. So in this case, you will need 14 stitches, for every web. Now that last +1 you will add at the end. So at the end of the row, you will need to also take that one stitch into consideration.

In this case, you will do that one SC on the last stitch.

Hope this helps. Should you need further assistance, please let me know.

Answer
Gimmy:
I am here to help.

What is the instruction of row 1, and what in row 2 is giving you difficulties.

Once I have that information, I can give you a better answer.

When you reply, please make it private, since you will provide part of a pattern, unless the pattern is a free one.

Looking forward to your reply.
