QuestionHi I have done about a dozen different projects but i get hung up on some like the one i am doing now and instead of stoping i want to get help with it so if you can help that woudl be great. ok i am on Row 2 row 1 i did clusters so i so far chained 186 then i did clusters which are explained like this: Ch 3, YO insert hood in third ch from hook, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw throught 2 loops on hook, YO,insert hook in same ch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw throught 2 loops on hook, YO and draw though all 3 loops on hook that was find then it says to finsih off at the end of that row then Row 2 reads:with right side facing join white with sc in first sc *ch 1, working behind next cluster dc in second skipped ch below cluster ch 1 sc in next sc; repeat from * across finish off 93 sts and 92 ch-1 sps. so i am having troubel with being able to go behind cluster it really difficult and i think i am doing somthing wrong i wish i can post a video lol but i find it very difficult to move the cluster out of the way to do what i need to do if u have any tips that woudl be great. ty for your time.
AnswerHello Richard:
Thanks for the question.
Working behind a row can be a challenge, but can be done.
Now since its the beginning row, one must become creative. When we crochet, we always want to have the work (in this case, the clusters) facing us. In this case, you will have the clusters facing down, exposing the chain row. Once you get a few stitches in, it will be easier and more comfortable.
If you already have a few rows done, the last instructions does not work that well. In this case, you will take the row and fold it down, exposing the previous row.
I hold my work with my thumb and second finger, and for me is easier to fold, or move my rows in different directions.
I do hope this helps. Should you need any assistance, please let me know.
Its good to know there is other guys also doing this great craft.
Happy hooking
