Question
I am making an 'oval pineapple doily'.  Two questions:  When instructions say 'Sh (shell) over 3ch sp' does that mean shell in the 3ch sp?  And secondly. when it says 'sh of 2tr' not sure what the 'of' means?  Having trouble with the 'over' and 'of' instructions.  If you know the pattern, it is row 15.  Thank you so much for your time.

Answer
Hello Mae

Thanks for the question.

Yes, you will make the sh, in the ch3 space that it calls for.

sh of 2tr - I am not familiar with this pattern. I am assuming the shells are 2dc, ch, 2dc or something of this variation. The shells of the sh of 2tr are being made doing treble crochet (yo twice and work the two loops in a total of 3 times (dc you work the 2 loops twice)

Hope this helps, should you need any assistance, please let me know.

Happy Hooking
