Question
How do you do an inverted picot?  I am left handed and can find no information on how to do this in crochet only in tatting, and I am working on a doily that calls for it, please help.  There is no information in the book about it.

Answer
Naomi,
You are more than welcome.  Though I can't always answer questions directly, I try to find the answer for you. Though it is not my direct knowledge, would you please consider changing the feedback score of 8 to a 10.  Since this is a volunteer site, the feedback ratings are very important to us.  I am just recovering from an 8 (marring my perfect score of all 10's) when someone gave me an 8 for not answering on time.  I had answered within 2 hours of her posting.

AllExperts tells me that in some cases we can have our feedback changed, but only by the questioner. Please go to http://www.allexperts.com/user.cgi?m=10&subject=Feedback and request that it be changed.  I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Patricia

Naomi,
I personally don't remember ever running across an inverted crochet but I did happen to find this answer on Hardy Hass's blog.  I hope it helps.  If this doesn't help, go to www.hassdesign.com and ask "Hardy".  I use his patterns and expertise all the time!

Expertise

Traditional Crochet and Filet Crochet (not clothes) I do more thread crochet than yarn.

Experience

I have been crocheting for over 50 years. As a child growing up in New Orleans, LA, I had aunts and older cousins who taught me, but now they are all gone and sadly, there is no one who crochets in my area. I hope to be able to meet fellow crocheters through this website, and I'd be delighted if I could help someone answer a question. I'm sure I'll be asking my share, also. I specifically enjoy doilies and afghans. I really like designing filet crochet. I don't make clothes, other than hats and scarves.

Education/Credentials
I learned as a child in the 50's from aunts and older cousins.
