Question
I am new at crocheting clothing and I just don't understand what they want me to do for the following http://www.freepatterns.com/search.html?parent_cat_id=&usage=&criteria=cotton+ca...

I am starting the sleeve and it sasy to working in ends of rows, with RS facing, join with sc in end of first row, evenly sp 29 sc around, join with sl st in beg sc.

Are they telling me to make a loop to start the sleeve, call me stupid, but is there an easier way to understand how to do this, I have got the shell stitches down, its just understanding.

Thanks for the question, sorry for the delay.

You should have the right side of the piece facing you. Now, join with a single crochet in end of first row. No loop, leave a long enough tail to weave in, and pick up the working yarn and do the pattern on the end (side of the piece) and evenly space the 29 sc around the piece.

Hopefully this will help. Should you need any assistance, please let me know.

Happy Hooking
